Wild Kingdom, Photo by We Made That

For the past two months I’ve been filming the construction of a new adventure playground at Three Mills Green in Newham.  Lead by We Made That, and funded and supported by The Legacy List, London Legacy Development Corporation and Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.  Named Wild Kingdom it offers what it’s title suggests; an exciting, adventurous, wild and nature-filled playground, to benefit the local community and any visitor.  Adults seem to enjoy the playspace just as much as the many kids taking advantage of the tree swings, trampline, clambering nets and stage area.  Young people from local community group Play, Sow and Grow have been involved in it’s construction, and it’s great to see their enthusiasm and love for the playground now it’s open. A foot injury has delayed production of the final film, but it should be online in the next few weeks.
