This is the photo that kickstarted my freelance career. Hungry for a change and to let my own creative passions run wild I responded to a request for photos from local artists by a new boutique hotel in Dalston, Avo Hotel.  The family run hotel is beautifully run, with warm and friendly staff, and on some of the walls I’m very proud to say some of my photography of Hackney is hanging (as well as from afar such as the Australian peacock above!).

I cannot thank Sunny at Avo enough for being so encouraging. Think of Avo if you ever plan on staying in London!
